Every year in Malaysia, at least 2000 elderly people are being abandoned in elderly homes or nursing homes by their family members due to the stress of caring for an aging parent who either refuses care or that the family members are unable to give proper care due to incontinence, dementia or other diseases. As most elderly homes aim to provide freedom to the elderly for leisure activities, socialization opportunities, and adequate healthcare facilities, a little help from our community can be a great way to ensure that they are safe and are able to live independently.
Adult diapers are one of the daily essentials in any nursing homes or retirement homes, with an average usage of 3 pieces per day for incontinent patients. The market retail price for 1 piece of diaper is at an average of RM2 which may be costly to the elderly care homes. To lessen their burdens and to support and enhance the lives of aging adults, Respack is initiating our “Love-Life-Active” and the “Love the Elderly, Care for the Elderly” campaign, as part of our corporate social responsibility.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Every ringgit counts in spreading your generosity over the entire “Love the Elderly, Care for the Elderly” Campaign.
Donate any amount and we will top-up the equal amount in the form of diapers to be sent to the elderly homes.
Donors who contribute more than RM500 will be given the option to choose any elderly homes of their choice of which the donations would be sent there.
EXAMPLE:
YOUR DONATION OF RM200 + RESPACK’S DONATION OF
RM200 = RM400
= 200 PIECES OF DIAPERS
